I was at the top of my class back in New York. 

My current French teacher here in Tennessee has six months experience with Russian and French from the army, and was granted a degree. I suppose she dumbed me down. caterpie;

Mine resigned, so I'm not getting any further than French II.
She did give away a few textbooks when she left.  I got a comic book. caterpie;

I'm actually still number one, solely because I remember some of what I learned back in New York. (I got halfway through French II in eighth grade, and just got through French 1 again this past year)

I'm her favorite student, and I asked her about some 50 year old French history book she had. I have no doubt she'll give it to me.

by that I mean I was the only one in my class that didn't  caterpie;

Though, I did have the highest final exam and midterm scores.
