setting up my mail thingyy on my mac, and lawlz isn't on.
yeah, im me if you know how to do it

Which site hosts your email? AOL?

AOL is IMAP so the address would be imap.aol.com and the outgoing address (SMTP) will be smtp.aol.com.

You want to check email at a damned shared host domain where anyone who has access to the control panel may just change your password or delete the email when you can get an email address a professional email site with a better interface.
