Oddly, the demo reminds me of Kingdom Hearts?

The way the characters run, Hau's arms behind his head like Sora, the innocence and naiveté of the island and its inhabitants akin to the Destiny Islands, the way the characters mouths move when talking, etc

But I think there's a common influence (Oceania) between destiny island and the Pokemon island and the similarities could be a coincidence
but then again Pokemon plots aren't known for originality (or kingdom hearts for that matter lol)

Litten goes Fire/Dark
Popplio goes Water/Fairy

Dammit now I kind of want Rowlett instead because I love ghost pokemon

Also clearly the games are based off Hawaii with the look and name Alola  (aloha)

Like people have said looks like Litten would be fire/dark which I'd be happy with especially if it plays differently than houndoom (physical maybe). My guess at the seel would be it gains fairy type mostly based off having a pink ball and being whimsical

Grass/ghost is fucking baller, I was already leaning towards Rowlett but that sold it.

Deciding factor for me might just be that I would like a Salandit or whatever that fire/poison type is also. So then I would get Rowlet to avoid doubling up on fire

Plus I think I'm going to get my gf Pokémon and she'll probably pick Litten because she loves cats

and plus, ghost- jesus.  my favorite type.
