I haven't tried the 3ds Donkey Kong or Super Mario 3d land either.

either of these is a far better choice than sticker star

donkey kong country returns 3d is merely port of the (excellent) wii game that neither looks nor runs as well as the wii original (though it does have one extra world and some other minor additions/tweaks), so i'd only consider it if you don't have a wii

but if you do, then of the three choices i'd get 3d l&

Hiro

I haven't played Sticker Star, but I've heard almost nothing but complaints about it. Then again the same thing happened with Super Paper Mario and I liked that one too

bluaki

I liked Super Paper Mario a lot, but it wasn't quite Paper Mario-ish

Sticker Star, on the other hand, I outright dislike. No sane developer should ever make an RPG where there's no experience, no rewards for battles, and all moves are consumable items.

It's not just battles; they ruined everything else about Paper Mario. Overworld levels are pretty dull. The "puzzles" aren't very good. There's not nearly as much good dialogue or story. No partners.

Samus Aran

I'm kinda interested in that extra Punch-Out thing, Doc Louis's Punch-Out, since Club Nintendo is the only way to get it. Though I think its just basically Punch-Out DLC.

this.  I got it off amazon for 20buckS and wasn't impressed. 3d land and donkey kong are better choices

Nope, it's a fucking Punch-Out demo. That's the only Platinum gift I ever received, and I regretted not getting the shitty foam Mario hat as soon as I played the game. Now they're handing it out to all members for only 250 coins, so I don't even have an exclusive piece of shit anymore. Thanks for rubbing it in, Nintendo  ghouldood;

Snowy

Just ordered NSMB 2. When CN goes up tomorrow I should be able to order Kid Dickarus too.

i wouldn't call it a demo so much as an extremely short spin-off in which the first round is basically just a training level lol

so yeah i don't know if i want it or not

I see it as, if you want NOTHING else on the site, it would be a fun little side thing to check out and have fun with as a companion to the main game.
Doc looks fun to fight once you do the training thing and actually spar with him

Hiro

from what i remember of my one playthrough with it Doc is super easy, and once you beat him it tells you to go buy the full Punch-Out game for more
so yeah, a demo

Does anyone have spare Club Nintendo codes?  giggle;

Snowy

I don't have any more, sadly. :( But you can do what I did recently and pillage your local gamestops for their used game codes lol.
