I'd get rid of the the yellow "fists" and add a bunch more vines, some slightly obscuring the the face of the the enemy. Maybe make one more dominant than the the others.

vines are so hard to animate and that's why i only made 2 :(

i was thinking the flowerbuds at the ends of the vines would open up and maybe release poison or something but

That's a pretty good idea, but the "boxing" animations would have to be reworked.
