did anybody ever actually play the ps1 spyro games

i really want to play some 3d platformers but it seems like there are no good ones aside from those on the n64

i played one of them back when the ps1 was still fairly new...so probably the first one. but only pretty briefly, on a friend's ps1. and i don't remember much about it at all.

I played the first Spyro game a long time ago, probably around 2000 or so, so I don't remember it at all. I still own the disc.

I played Spyro 2 and 3, thought they were pretty fun

The random side games/quests kept it interesting. Beyond the PS1 they were all trash though

I've played a nice bit of them and they're really enjoyable. A friend of mine speedruns the first one I think.

I own and have played them all. Definitely the best of the series. Like almost any game, playing is better than watching.

I liked the first 3. I'd say they just got worse over time. 1 and 2 being the best.

We're actually playing it right now on my Let's Play. It's still pretty fun. Not the best platformer or anything but it's still a solid game.

Spyro 3 hasn't aged well though.
