"Hurt" - Johnny Cash.

I hurt myself today
To see if I still feel
I focus on the pain
The only thing that's real.
:(

So sad, so awesome.

"Pushing Up Daisies" by Mama Hagglin

Mama Hagglin is an up-and-coming band with only one real album out, called Vibe. They pretty much only perform in L.A. at the moment. They're sort of like...giving Three Dog Night or some other late 60s-70s popish-rock band like that a bit of an update.

I found out about them through them adding me on last.fm as a friend. This is the second time a rock artist has added me as a friend to try to get me to listen to their work. The first one that did wasn't very good, but Mama Hagglin is indeed pretty cool.

The Sleep - Pantera

Holy shit, Dimebag really pulls off a good solo in this one. Makes me wish that he was still alive so I could see him in concert. :(

The Day That Never Comes - Metallica

Not that great but still pretty much one of the best song's metallica's done in 15 years
I agree. Thanks to Rick Rubin the production is way better than St. Anger, which is good because I don't want to hear another album that sounds like it was recorded in someone's ass. I also like that I can hear the bass, especially since Robert Trujillo is a badass bassist and the best thing Metallica has going for them. The lead guitar lines are kinda weak, but I wasn't expecting any miracles from Kirk Hammet. All in all, the song doesn't hold up to their 80's albums, but it's better than most of the Black Album.

I heard Cyanide and to be quite honest, I didn't really feel it.

"Mic Like a Memory[Remix]" - CunninLynguists

I sit back on the flip, on the wild paths in my life
Only pain and heartache can feel my paths on the right
You know wat blasphemy's like, cursing at God
Cause you aint got shit it hurts and it's hard
Hell at times I steped it up to only stumble
Was forced to play tarzan in this concrete jungle
Most of my life's a daze got me forever lighting haze
Trying to forget the times, where I barely ate twice a day
Feeling alone and helpless, so when I only felt the shame
sharing a twin bed in a homeless shelter
Few friends even then, most homies is fake
Feel like a prisoner in my home pencil my only escape
I went from the block with my fam, to collage exams
But the pressures still there
Dog, I'm still scared
But I know it will all be right in the end
As long as I can focus my fears and channel my life through my pen
