I didn't like it very much. akudood;

Was that the only one you got?

Cause Scarsick was probably my least favorite Pain of Salvation album

check out The Perfect Element, Part 1 and Remedy Lane. They are much much much much much better.

okay :3

MOAR FROM OTHER BANDS PLZ

My last.fm recommendations seem to be stuck in electronic mode. I mean sure, I love electronic music and Justice is my most listened artist, but I'd still like more metal. confuseddood;

Disarmonia Mundi - Mind tricks and Fragments of D-Generation
Soilwork- The Chainheart Machine and Natural Born Chaos
every album by Symphony X
Dark Tranquility- The Mind's I and Damage Done
Evergrey- all their albums but i'd start with The Inner Circle or Recreation Day
At the Gates- Slaughter of the Soul
Eluveitie (one of my faves)- Slania
early stuff from In Flames
Nightrage-Sweet Vengeance
Scar Symmetry-all albums

That should keep you busy for a while. It is a mix of good melodic death metal and progressive :3

Eh, depends on what you mean by melodic death metal. I like when the instrumentation is like that, but when there's a female singer singing opera-style (think Amberian Dawn myface;), that's a huge-ass turn-off.

Is there anything like that in that list? confuseddood;

I had to look up Amberian Dawn cause I have never heard of them but no there is nothing like that

The only one with a female voice is Eluveitie but it isn't in any way like that Amberian Dawn band.

There is an example of what I mean by melodic death metal from the Italian band Disarmonia Mundi  :3

Oh ok that's pretty cook. :3

I like when bands like that have clean-singing parts in their songs, gives you time to breathe. n_u

Disarmonia Mundi - Mind Tricks
I thought it was a bit uniform at first, I'm gonna have to give a few more listens. But I liked it overall.

The Project Hate MCMXCIX - The Lustrate Process

Symphony X - The Odyssey *ActRaiser 2 sprite*

It's unfortunate that you don't listen to this kind of stuff anymore Echo, you'd like it.

A good version of False Priest leaked and I got that like last week. I can't wait for my physical copy to arrive with the cool artbook.  n_n
