I don't really like microwaving food but it is good for leftovers and certain culinary shortcuts (steaming veggies, very quick baked potato, etc)

learn to cook, TAKE NO SHORTCUTS (seriously you don't need a microwave for anything if you have an oven and stove. reactionary I know)_

and all the cabinet recommends are good

Daddy

then why do professional chefs even utilize microwaves  baddood; baddood; baddood;

also:

-Bread Machine
-Pasta Maker
-FOOD PROCESSOR

snoorkel

I'm not a professional chef
but I would consider bread machin and pasta maker luxury items. isn't that stuff pretty easy to buy in many varieties, for half the cost? food processor would be awesome though.

'Round here it is >:(

up front I'd be paying more for the ingredients but for a pound-for-pound value of bread I'd be saving money.

Make sure you have some tools. Cheap set of screwdrivers, sockets, wrenches.
For emergencies, you know.
