I have no preference for subs or dubs really
I don't usually think dubs are all that bad and subs can be just as bad (poor translation, obnoxious voice actors that can be difficult to distinguish due to the language barrier)
so usually I'll watch dubs unless they're especially bad or if the subbed version is especially good, or of course if no dub exists i have zero problem watching subs

it's a comedy, felt. there is one girl who genuinely wants to get it on with another one of them, but for the rest of the characters, it's just implied (albeit heavily in some cases), and it's always a source of comedy and never anything serious. there's no actual lesbian relationships in the show.

i finally got around to watching Metropolis

fantastic movie. perhaps a bit rushed, and i would've liked more insight into the thoughts of kenichi (the main character), but pretty goddamn great otherwise. it's absolute eye candy and the score is fantastic, but it's also a good story.
