Well I bought a Wii at it's release, sold it after about 6 months. I also bought a 360 in December 07 and sold it a few months ago. Still have my original DS and DS lite and have no intentions of selling either.

power has never mattered on almost any game console in the last 10 years, seriously almost all the most hardware intensive games have been released on multiple consoles (disregarding obvious low-powered exceptions like the wii)

I don't regret it though, it's worth having for some games. But really, a 360 or PS3 would be so much better.

Except its FPSes are amazing and the only game the PS3 had that actually interested me (Little Big Planet) was ruined by copyright whores.

I can't say I regret buying the Wii because it does have some spectacular titles like Super Mario Galaxy, but there really aren't enough. My latest Wii title was purchased over one and a half years ago. :'(
