Ok, I just bought my 4th DS.  It's the original, and God damn I bought it for only $30.

My...

- 1st Original DS, 2004-2006 somehow broke in the supervision of my childhood friend
- 2nd, DS Lite, 2006-2008 stolen from locker after I had a seizure in PE
- 3rd, DS Lite, D&P edition, 2008-2010, top screen cracked after having them in some shitty fitness shorts that had loose pockets and when I ran and stopped, it hit something and RIP

Still have all of those systems, though.

So happy for the one I got on eBay because it seems like it's in good condition.

actually pretty good for early access

online matches seem to be 50% okay and 50% unplayable because of lag

the characters are all relatively balanced and interesting in their own regard.
however multiplayer is really the only thing in the game right now and there is no ranking system yet

prob not worth $15 if you arent trying to be hyper competitive and grind online constantly

I want an original DS because of nostalgia sake and that the GBA slot doesn't let games stick out, and plus I get to take advantage of the bonus features including a 3rd gen pkmn game when playing D/P.

And the crispness of playing on a smaller screen compared to the *new* 3DS XL
