QuoteOH god , Fox. I Have to sit here from my home, having been appraised of the sensationalist bull crap that you've just posted about the 'hackers on steroids'. I pass up going to the beach just to spend the time opening your minds.

Let me illuminate you a little bit to who/what you deal with.

I am one of what we refer to as the leg/i/on. I'm just an average guy. I work. I pay my bills. I give to charity. Put my pants on one leg at a time and enjoy music ranging from classical to trance techno. I read Sam Harris, Plato, Kafka, C.S Lewis, and quite a bit of history books. I enjoy video games and dabble in string theory for my own personal education. I am a major in biochemistry. I play trumpet. I make payments on 25k worth of student loans. I'm a 30+ y/o male who simply does his daily grind of work, bills, home, shower, shave, etc etc.

However, once you take away the thin cover of 'normal' society away from the persona, and place the average 'anon' within the realm of cyber-space, we are an entirely different creature together.

Anon, /i/nsurgents, and our ilk really represent a broader spectrum of what humanity is really like. We range from compassionate to manipulative to backstabbing. We are ultra racists, we are ultra anti racists, we are bleeding hearts, we are hardcore haters.

In essence, we represent the dichotomy of humanity that is anonymous and all the good and evil it can embody.

In essence, we are what you are when you are at home in the confines of your own domicile and you express all the good and evil of your opinions without anyone there. We are unconditional love and the embodiment of mankind's disgust of one another. We are the juxtaposition of restraint and unbridled contempt for our fellow human beings.

Another comparison would be to say we are basically the Einsteinian ADAH tourette's syndrome hive mentality persona of the internet with the occasional fringe wing of the intellectual elite which have, over years of just slumming on the internet, have gained the ability to manipulate and shape the environment in which we exist. From that aspect, our existence was simply a matter of time and intellectual evolution given the technology which we all have.

It is important to understand this because , really, we are legion, folks. We are everywhere, whether you know it or not. Friends of your kids. Co-workers. Managers. College students, high school teachers, nurses, so on and so forth.

Now , normally , we really don't care much about the average daily ongoings of most everyone else's life. Honest. We're all fine and happy to let the rest of the world go on its merry little way. We done care about you unless you do something to try to anger the 'hive'. Something that singles you out as a grade-A moron. Like your 'poor threatened family'. And the 'boy' you featured.

You see, we have this thing about 'NYPA' or 'not your personal army'. This is a primary, cardinal, rule that we normally live by. So your poor 'boy', Alex Wuori, tried to manipulate anon in order to basically get a piece of action from some underage girl on myspace. Anon doesn't like single targets that have no reason for it, and because he made a complete fool of himself by trying to be individualistic and force some girl to like him over the internet, he basically got a swift kick in the can.

Please do learn to report the whole truth instead of half-truths in this case. Your poor crying boy isn't all that innocent.

Now let me pause a moment here and point out that, in all seriousness, getting passwords and the like for a site like myspace is really a walk in the park. Plenty of ignorant users out there have no concept of internet security and use blanket passwords for just about anything. Something simple to remember. You've heard the news time and time again to always make your passwords different? Well this is why.

And also, let me make a side comment concerning personal information and the internet. The ability to find personal names, addresses, telephone numbers, and things of that nature is really no more difficult than opening a local phone book, using google, and a few other 'tools' out there. Really, theres no 'hacking' involved in that aspect. A moron can do this. Hell, lots of morons do this daily. We call them telemarketers. Learn how to cover your own backside for crying out loud and take some personal responsability for the readiness of your own 'personal data'.

Anyhow, back to poor Alex. Ultimatly, Anon will simply forget about Alex. Remember what i said about ADHD? Its very true. Few things hold our attention for long because , really, it doesnt matter to us in the longrun. Alex tried to use anon for his own personal gain. We dont like that. We took action.

Your attempt to create outrage and incite the public with your sensational journalisim is just that, an attempt.

We are not all that bad, honestly. We've done some good things. We've done some bad things. Cast the first stone and all that jazz, Fox.

Habbo Hotel? racist admin who hated blacks, so we stormed their 'universe' with black charachters. Hal Turner, ultra racist white supremicist who calls for the death of congressmen and federal judges because they dont like his views? We shut his sorry excuse for a radio program down for 4-5 months because he was a pompous, self righteous, fool. Hell, we even took our rage out against VNN and other white supremicist websites that associated with him, flooding them infiltrating their infrastructure and spreading counter-information against users, turning them inside out and watching their hate-mongering websites rip themselves apart from the inside out.

The superbowl hoax, yes, was in bad taste, I'll agree there. But seriously folks, when you look at where the thing began, why in gods name would you believe ANYTHING on the internet from those sites?

All in all, Fox, you're probably now being flooded on your message boards and such by anon's who have heard about your little piece of 'news' you decided to publish. Grin, bear it, and ride it out. We'll get tired of you soon enough.

Peace out, Fox. I hope you learn something.

It's completely true.

We need to ban the Boyagers with the attention span of NSiders.

Samus Aran

I read it all, and I love it. I applaud the noble soul who wrote that up. And you're right, all of it is true.

Himu

I read it all.  That person is awesome.

FAMY2

That was well thought out and true. Every point made was right on. It should of been added that Fox itself adds to the whole picture of internet drama.

Lozal

That was an awesome write up and completely true. I applaud this person happily.
