If developers took their time with this, it could turn out REALLY good.

Think:
Gumby has shape shifting powers because he is clay. And his friends do as well. I remember when I watched the episodes and movie, he could travel through books. Wouldn't it be cool to go through different fairy tales/works of literature and shape shift to get past it? Puzzles, and such.
Also, last time I remembered, Gumby was on the ...violent side. So there could be lots of action.
