the mt. postmore monument isn't really designed to honor those who simply have high post counts lol
it's meant to be a tribute to those who played a foundational role in establishing boyah, or those who have been fundamental in keeping the place afloat to date (etc.)
so reaper, snorkel, jmv, and possibly others, you can't necessarily just look at the top 10 posters list for this great honor because some of the founders have smaller post counts or haven't even been online in ages

ofreak was probably added because we needed more active people back then to handle the forum, how he became Admin I'm not exactly sure. I think he may have had some experience with the back-end of forums. I believe he might have done some Admin related things but it was quickly found out he was a silly little fellow.
Lawlz just had a good way of slicing through the bullshit and had a great take on the whole community (NSider, Boyah, Outside and the likes). He was once active at Outsider for some time if I recall correctly but seemed to transition to Boyah later on.
lawlz also posted a fuckton and that always helped

i mean it's just exactly that. i grew to strongly dislike him because of how he acted.
i've always known lawlz to be an unbelievably tactless, blunt, often disagreeable person, but i don't have any reason to think he was outright reprehensible or abusive or anyth lol
at the same time, i was hardly ever a direct target of his offenses and i knew to give him space if he was in one of his moods, so i might be a little biased

tta be honest, I was inactive for a long time but then I came back and screws around with the forum. I think things really changed with the admin staff and I had been inactive so it was fairly disrespectful for me to do so but I did a lot of the silly little changes like I used to do to Boyah for limited time purposes. Like changing censors in descriptive ways and embedding that really tight song about first offenses.
Anyways the point is I didn’t post a long time and then I came back like I owned the place but things had changed and Snorkel was really kind of the incredible things he did for Boyah and I should have been more in tune with the new staff before making any major changes.
I’m not sure if that was why I was de-admined but before reading your post that’ what I thought had happened.

recall correctly Mario freak and maybe silver helped create the forums before boyah
Remember- Boyah is SMF which is semi-open source so we were able to finally make a lot of custom changes which is what made boyah so special. It took FTP, SQL, CSS, etc... was a lot more custom but a lot more technical
I don't know for sure but I think bassir helped with the technical stuff. I don't know MARIO freak knew any of that stuff.
You know I don't even remember for sure who eminen was but I think he went off to start a rap career or something sure hope he is alright

Alright, so here's what I remember.
Back in the day (2007 or so), me and Mariofreak### started a forum called PowerSpike. It was moderately popular. It ran for maybe 6 months to a year, and eventually some other members decided they wanted to start their own forum (Boyah). Boyah became popular, PowerSpike started dying. Eventually we just merged. I was mod for a bit, but I was angry because I wanted to be admin like on PS. Riosan (an admin [I think]) figured out how to make other admin accounts, so he made one for me and I did some dumb shit. My memory on this whole thing is fuzzy, though. I can't say for sure whether or not PowerSpike (and by association myself and Mariofreak###) is directly responsible for the creation of Boyah, but I'd like to think we at least helped.
This may not be 100% accurate (it was 10 goddamn years ago), but it's the best I've got.
