Title: Frivolous vidya game purchases
Post by: strongbad on May 14, 2015, 12:47:48 PM
things you want to purchase or have yet to
most recently i bought two gameboy micros. one because i wanted one and the other because it was only $50 and i liked the faceplate better. if you wanna buy one with this (http://i.imgur.com/cnoLnvt.jpg) faceplate for $60 hmu
this was quite frivolous because i already have a ds lite with a slot 2 flashcart to boot gba roms off of lol but i hate playing gba on my dsl because the two screens is weird when you are only using one of them u kno akudood;

REALLY tempted to buy a top loader nes. i don't own an NES (well my roommate does, but my own collection is more important) but they are huge and ugly and the top loaders are so sexy. so expensive though :(

there are also a lot of collectible game cube controllers that i would pay too much money for if i encountered  >_<'

nes toploaders are SO nice, i don't blame you for wanting one

also, i've bought several really expensive snes cartridges now, the biggest one being earthbound of course, at $150.

honestly it's got to be one of the best system improvements i've ever seen
the normal nes is horrendous

well, that's cause the toploader doesn't look super different from a normal famicom. it's our western nes that looks so weird and different.

similarly, our snes looks nothing like the super famicom, unfortunately. cause the super famicom is beautiful.
