interpreting middle school in the context of quebec's grade system as late elementary to early secondary, idk for you guys but for me it was better than high school at least

I didn't get MSN Messenger until high school :(
i had some weird friends that i knew pretty well on there that were not from nsider or boyah and i haven't spoken to / heard from any of them since middle school. creepy
probably just fucking around in general, god my school had their head up their ass and got mad at everything. so i fucked around a lot in school.
I miss my "home room" class the most, or whatever that class was called. I remember walking into it and seeing all the guys that loved to fuck around with teachers and all the hottest girls, including one that was well known for getting fingered on the bus. one time a sub was playing a video of a movie. some one got a extension cord and shorted it out then plugged it into the wall. this would turn off everything including the movie we were watching. at some point the power would come back on. this happened like three times, hilarious.
another time a kid threw a stink bomb into the class before class... haha wasted a lot of time outside waiting for the smell to go away and the fucking kid never got caught hahahah.
man that was the best class i ever had.
Where I'm from home room isn't a class, it's just the designated meeting place for the morning announcements before you head out to your first class confuseddood;

homeroom in middle schools 4 me was our first period class
in high school we had this thing called "advisory" which was a 20 minute waste of time that served that period shoved between second and third periods
Homeroom was always our first class.
But you didn't learn anything in it right? huhdoodame;
It's basically just fuck around time until next period??
Yes, it was an actual class.
All 3 years of middle school, my homeroom class was English.

but we did, it was just a designation.
english, math then science in middle school 4 more
It's also treated the same in High School in Texas.
If you were in band/athletics, those were your homeroom classes. If you weren't in band or athletics, you had an actual class like math or chemistry.
homeroom was just u fuck aroudnin the class room until the class started
What you guys are describing is what we called "Study Hall". n_u
But that "class" was for kids who didn't have extracurricular activities like band or athletics.

We had that but there was no talking and you expected to read or do your homework.
For athletics or band you either came before school started or stayed after it ended
"study hall" here was a punishment for not signing up for an elective class

honestly, you couldn't even study there. it was in the auditorium so there was no place for you to actually do work. i ended up just listening to podcasts and reading books when i had it
