my client has a 3ds and it's the first time i've touched one giggle;

the racoon tail is the most useless item in the history of mario kart
it's more of a burden than anything
it's like a green shell except half as useful because you can't even use it as a projectile, only defensively
and you can't even rid yourself of it at your own discretion, you're stuck with it for a whole ten seconds awdood;

as far as i know you can snake in every single one since mario kart 64
unless snaking means something specific that isn't just getting boosts from drifts

yes, for the sake of combating the endless snakefest that was mkds online
if by "snaking" you mean the consecutive chaining together of drift boosts such that the the entire race is spent alternating between drifting and boosting, then no, that isn't possible as far as i know in mk7 (thank god)

as tec says, it's being able to do it even on straightaways so that it's faster to constantly drift than drive a straight line
