What have you been playing lately and what are some of the most memorable ones you've ever played?
I just got Illbleed for $20 yesterday and I've slowly been getting through Silent Hill. 2 and 3 are also sitting on my to-do pile. wrench;
also, yume nikki and .flow are really fun. .flow feels fairly cheap in comparison to yume nikki though; tiles don't align properly and something always feels a little bit off with the graphics, but i guess it can also be interpreted as part of the experience
Illbleed is supposed to be pretty funny though, right?
been playing Amnesia and it's p.fun
Silent Hill 3 is just creepy not too spooky

Yes, but every level is a horror movie setting
i said "spooky", no "horror"

horror would have been a better description, since that's a genre while spooky typically means scary or creepy

but horror implies it's something that's supposed to terrify you
spooky is just the general ambience. halloween games aren't necessarily scary, but they're designed to have that spooky feeling. castlevania is also somewhat of a spooky game with its skeletons and grim reaper etc, but it's not
horror
By your definition would costume quest be spooky
shadow of the colossus, but the fourth one in particular

every other game known to man
ZAMN
There are no truly spooky games I can think of. A couple of creepy characters maybe.

agreed, i've always found the fourth one creepy for some reason
some of the zelda games are kind of spooky wry
slenderman xD
Alan Wake and Luigi's Mansion!
Nocturne and Shadow Hearts were both creepy RPGs. But I haven't put in more than a few hours of each.
I always was a little spooked of Final Fantasy VII's scenes in the Nibelheim Moutains. And the cave behind Red 13's home.....was it Cosmo Canyon?
Rule of Rose was a spooky game, but not a good one.
And I haven't played any Fatal Frame's but my cousin said they are scary.
