Post by: Hiro on September 19, 2012, 08:45:17 PM
Is it so wrong that I want to play Final Fantasy XIV, Phantasy Star Online 2, Guild Wars 2, and Eve Online?  >.<

i know smithicide;
i can't afford subscription fees either way so that cuts ffxiv and eve from my options

guild wars 2 is so boring

in conclusion, guild wars 2 isn't very new and exciting. It's okay if you want to play a game by yourself, I mean, when I played it, it felt more like I was playing an open world RPG, which it kind of is, given that the people who play it behave as robots. The world itself is very pretty and fun to look at too, and I do enjoy that they reward you for exploring, but then again you're basically forced to do it to meet the level requirements for the next zone anyway.

The only decent free mmo that wasn't bogged down by lag I've played was Vindictus. It's an instance grind game, but if you like doing that, you'll have lots of fun, promise.

I've been playing FFXI and really enjoying it. I'll get XIV once 2.0 drops.

you sound like a heavy MMO player, and guild wars 2 does seem more targeted for less "hardcore" players, so that may be why you don't like it much i dunno
I haven't played much of any MMO so it's probably more for someone like me
I just kind of go with the flow on rpgs anyways so much of what you said doesn't really matter to me

i would probably want that one the most, but it'll have subscription fees so oh well
also i would never really play eve anyways because it seems so scary and intimidating lol
