So... I got really tired of hearing people state how much they dislike a LOT of games.
So, let's try something new....
Tell me some games you like or love, maybe ones that nobady seems to know about, but it can be any.
I don't want any talk of how much a game sucks. It gets old fast. Remember, it's OK to like a videogame
(which everybody seems to forget these days.... srsly)
"uncharted"
- the rest of boyah
and me as well but to a lesser extent
we just like to complain a lot, not to mention a few who make hating video games part of their shtick (videoshames, etc)

I really like MGS3.
Like I really like it.
good answer, but any reasons why? care to explain why? not that i disagree or anything, but that's what i want to hear, what you like and why.
I really really love Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
because when I was 11 years old and played it, Nemesis chasing you around during most of the game was pretty fucking awesome
Any Civilization game, especially now that I've begun to play the multiplayer. I love history, I love strategy (particularly turn-based), and Civ brings it all together. I can honestly say Civilization has taught me a lot about history and politics from its Civilopedia, which makes me slightly less ashamed of all the hours I've poured into it.
Other entries:
Pokemon. I will never get bored of raising these guys. I probably start a new game in some version at least 3 times a year.
Uncharted. Every game in this series is like a great book: I just can't put it down until I'm finished.
Smash Bros. Nothing quite as satisfying as destroying the childhoods of friends who claim they are "really good" at SSB
Mario Kart. Same story as SSB
Aaaaaand there's something else but I can't think of it and it's driving me crazy
xenogears mostly because of the story. it was really great huge complex world too until the second disk lol. but i still love it
Red Dead Redemption is the only game you need in your life. It holds all of life's mysteries.

good job
Way of The Samurai.
The gameplay was a little clunky, but I remember feeling like a badass when I played as a rogue samurai warrior. The whole story was that you wandered into this town that had four main factions fighting for it. The old shogunate (who was being manipulated by The Government), The startup clan made by the Shogun's son, and then there were the crazy outsiders. I always wanted to get the perfect ending on the startup's side (there were like 9 different endings) but never could get it.
Also there were sequels. I spent very little time with 2 and never got to play 3
Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. If you want my reasons why, check out this video. we share the same reasons.

Pokémon games, but not the spin-offs, unless it's Pokémon Pinball.
Super Smash Bros. series.
Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! games. I don't even know how I got interested into the games at first.
Final Fantasy III for the DS.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, and Twilight Princess.
Super Mario World 1 and 2: Yoshi's Island. Super Mario Bros. 2 and 3. Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.
Tetris Attack
Tetris
Maybe I'm missing more. I also have played some MMORPG's that I like: Dungeon Fighter Online, FlyFF, Runescape. (Lol, no matter what, I'll one day occasionally log in to Runescape because of boredom, then somehow get into it again. Same with the previous two games.)
Yeah, I'm pretty "casual."
there is no super mario world 3 lmao

the psn one has the annoying loading cuz its the ff anthology version.
but if you want to play on a tv, and dont wanna on SNES, its the one to get.
I got FF6 on the GBA and didn't play it until I got a game boy player for the 'cube. TOTALLY WORTH IT! It was an amazing game, what I played of it. I didn't finish it.
I liked FF3 DS a lot actually, but it was quite hard at times, kinda like "hey you're good!" then...boss "fuck"
Anyways I got a thing for the SNES era, that is when I was a kid so 2D is what I love. Nowadays I enjoy the music in games almost more than actually playing a game. The music is what brings me back into that world (if it has a good soundtrack)
therefore I love, absolutely love; Earthbound, FF7, and the Mega Mans.
FF7 is just one of my all-time favorite games. The theme is very mature to me, forbidden research on humans and exposing them to mako energy, then the theme that you go back to the planet when you die, life force. You start in this urban jungle that has got this dark vibe to the game and the music complements that very well.
Earthbound is so light hearted, that it reminds me what it means to be a kid, so I love that. The music is super funky and it's just AWESOME!
I really enjoyed Chibi-Robo for the same reasons as Hiro. the notes when you walk....damn I don't even mind cleaning the house. And the music that plays when you're watching Giga-Robo's flashback...it's so sad, it's GREAT!
I just picked up the DS version Park Patrol off eBay....I haven't played much...but its more of a sim build your park thing and I'm not feeling it as much. Although the sound effects and voices are so well done.
I really liked Pikmin, it's been a while since I played that. Wasn't ever able to kill that one hardest enemy, not the queen bulbug or whatever they were called.
and before my list gets too long (SSBM, Metal Gear Solid, Metroid Fusion, Mario Sunshine, Tales of Symphonia, Dark Cloud)
....oh god I love Dark Cloud....
I have one game that the thought of makes me happy, and that is Maplestory. God I wish I could still play this, but it isn't how it used to be, the game's whole dynamics have changed....or maybe I should give it another chance. .. but man, the music was so soothing, I could grind for hours.
... woo, brings me back. giggle;
