Title: htc one s y/n
Post by: Daddy on April 15, 2012, 01:55:10 PM
My shitty phone has gotten to the point where it will loose its signal and not get one again until I restart the phone.

This means I can go an entire day without knowing I am not getting phone calls or texts until the person messages me on facebook and sees me in person and asks why I never answered them akudood;

I'm still having the issue where Messages, my contact list, and dialer all crash about half the time I try to use them.

HTC One S looks nice and should be out within 10 days so I am interested in this. n_n

Has Sprint announced any US plans for the One X?

I'd rather not go back to AT&T and I'm still in contract with T-Mobile. I know Sprint used to (don't know if thy still do) give an account credit for people who left their contracts with other carriers early to help soften the blow of the ETF.  I have heard rumors that Sprint was planning on getting the One X and just branding it the EVO One.

Idk how accurate that is.   n_u

And I would imagine that Sprint would still offer that, with its new LTE infrastructure and being desperate for new subscribers.  confuseddood;

yeah, prepaid is definitely the way to go if you either don't care about fancy phone features, or have enough cash to invest in an unlocked/no-contract phone

I pay like $85 now (used to be $95 before I dropped from unlimited to 500 minutes since I don't use them).

I can get it to around $79 if I drop the shitty phone insurance which I probably will.

A phone that isn't tied to a certain carrier.

So I got the One S.

I like it.  also i remembered how much google's support sucks

http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/mobile/gKy9gb3ojHw things like this go unanswered and i couldn't find a simple answer on how to make the phone show under my devices on my Google account.

I had to log into the play store and download an application that I already didn't have under my account for the phone to show. @_@

I like ICS. The face unlock is pretty cool (I haven't gotten annoyed by it yet).

Seems a lot better.

I still gotta root the phone so I haven't put much on it. Rooting because T-Mobile bundles so much shit with the phone @_@
