The Misfits.
I saw Danzig back in May, though it was a bad concert and I only went because my girl at the time was acting excited about Danzig because of The Misfits. I knew his solo stuff wasn't too similar to The Misfits (going off what people have said of the misfits), but I took her anyway. Danzig was drunk and didn't sing (just yelled into the mic).
In retrospect, it's not a concert you take a girl too.
Also, I'm realizing I haven't explored too much punk.
Chapterhouse, The Delays and Mojave 3 as I just went through a dream pop/shoegazing binge.

If you love the Band, you have to watch the Last Waltz, a massive concert with huge names and a really nice introspective on the band.

It's directed by Scorsese too. Beautifully shot film.

I second this. Great film, a definite must see.
Ween. I listened to them for the first time almost a year ago and they're now one of the top three favorite bands. I wish I would have given them a chance way earlier.
Also, Bjork. For some reason, I never tried listening to a full Bjork album until recently. I fell in love with her vocals almost instantly.

They're pretty close to my number one, but I love Opeth too much.

Ween's great. I've been in love with Transdermal Celebration since I was like 16 or so, got into them more a few years later, so I suppose I did wait a little too long on that.
I guess I would also say Brian Eno and by extension Roxy Music, Cibo Matto, OutKast, and most recently Mew. There's still a lot of artists I feel I should get into, mainly relating to late 80's-early 90's shoegaze, punk, and jazz.

yes i have and the production was good and some of the instrumental work was alright, but the vocals absolutely destroy any redeeming values that thing had to begin with. 16 year old girl emo-core bullshit.
Jesus is a cool brand new song, but that is about it For Me.
16 year old emo-core Bullshit is a cool phrase

i mean i get what you're saying but i don't really give a shit because sometimes i feel like i have the emotions of a 16 year old girl still and it kind of sucks but whatever man
and in terms of that it's a shit ton better than deja entendu, your favorite weapon is still boss as a pop punk album though
