you've never seen this before? we have router and bridgeport blades in our shop that will do this

OH I GET IT

It's a triangular bit and the center wobbles so that it fits within a square shape. There are indents cut in the sides of the triangle so that it can cut the metal, but it's essentially triangular.

Still fucking cool.

better than a pocket knife, that's how I'd been boring my square and round hole arrays
