http://g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/708275/Christopher-Nolan-Unveils-Batman-3-Title-Updates-On-Villains-3D.html
Nolan kinda confirms he's not allowing any supernatural villains in his universe (no Riddler, Freeze, any other ridiculous ones, so half of Bats rogue gallery axed)
2012 release date, and it will not be shot in 3D, so I guess that's a good thing.
what kind of title is that
boo
batman begins
the dark knight
the dark knight rises
batman retires
I don't see a problem with the title, people are just complaining because they expected it to be "The Dark knight Returns" or something. I guess the Penguin would make a good villain if done correctly.
Lame title, but still excited for it. I wonder who the villain is? I was hoping for Riddler, but he got shut down :(
Title's lame because it plays off the success of the second film... It would have been ok if all three were called the Dark Knight, but doing it now seems to just be marketing.
Please anyone but Catwoman

I don't see how it's marketing at all, it's already Batman goonish

People drool over the Dark Knight... Batman not so much.
Also "Rises" is really generic
they should call it "batman gets a boner" lol get it

How not? People didn't go see TDK because of the name, they went because Heath Ledger died and because it's Batman. Batman Begins was pretty popular too.
And is don't get how it's generic really. What would be less generic?
the dark knight was really popular and made a lot of money
they want to repeat that by giving it a similar title
the end shut the fuck up
dark knight kicks a whole lot of ass.
thats is probably the least generic movie title

Obviously, but it was immensely successful which is why they kept the same name... to lure the same fans back in.

Dark Knight grossed over 1 billion dollars, Batman Begins got 300 mil

Searching 'Rise' on rotten tomatoes nets 184 movies containing "rise", with a significant spike being in the 2000s

This :(
I hope this doesn't end up like Iron Man 2 or Spider-Man 3.
I'll only like it if it's called Dark Knight Sucks My Dick in 3D

The fact that it sucked
wait the riddler has supernatural powers since when?

where did it suck?
Not so much that it sucked, but more that it was over-hyped. It felt like it was rushed to me and they tried to hard to introduce the Avengers rather than work more on Iron Man. My two cents.

Yeah seriously. Scarecrow has more "supernatural powers" than riddler did.
the villen should b heath lejers ghost

I don't remember any except that in the old TV show he had the tendency to teleport and vanish sometimes, usually after delivering a riddle and laughing his trademark laugh.
But uh...that was the TV show, lol.

idklol
Wikipedia also says he didn't have any superhuman powers and just was a genius.
after reading the article it seems that kono sucks at parenthesis. it says no riddler and no supernatural or whatever.
kono's post combined them as if there was no riddler because there would be no superhumans
Mr. Freeze is mostly technologically based as well. I'll admit his condition is bordering supernatural, though.
what villains does that even leave
please no penguin oh dear god

Mr. Freeze sucks anyway, he's like the worst major villain in Batman history

I can only hope that she's the villian :(

I don't see why not. Would be a good follow-up for the joker. Plus I think she would fit really good in Nolan's batman universe.

that's an awful idea
Uh how? It's probably the most likely villain now that Riddler was confirmed to not be the new villain baddood;
man bat
Quote from: Live Is Dead on November 04, 2010, 02:30:21 PM
man bat
Nolan already confirmed that man-bat and all other "supernatural" villains wouldn't be in the movie.
Anyways they had Ra's al Ghul who was supposed to have been alive for centuries because of the lazarus pits
