I was thoroughly bored through the one with the robotic clones. It's hard to come back after so long though
I enjoyed them. They were so ridiculous though.
They seemed the same as older futurama episodes, which is fine by me. I wasn't expecting it to be 10x better than the series used to be, I was expecting it to be a continuation of the series, which is exactly what it was in my eyes. So yeah I liked them.
There were enough clever jokes in there to keep me interested.

Robosexual episode was meh. Contrived message and it just tried to make fun of Christianity using unconventional methods. The references and hidden messages make it feel like a bleh episode of south park. The pop culture references are also annoying. They also tried to hard by getting rid of kiff so immediately.
Boyle episode was ok though.

Good thing I decided to not get back into it.
The thing about Futurama humor is that it used to rely on almost no pop culture references and just funny shit. Everything Fry, Zoidberg, the Professor, and sometimes Bender usually cracked me up, just because it was fucking funny. I'm not saying that there didn't used to be all the pop culture references bullshit, but the show didn't used to rely on them for it's humor. Now it seems like it relies on them almost exclusively.

While going through the channels, I saw Futurama on and only saw one of the new episodes. I only watch this show if there's nothing else to watch and it didn't appeal to me like how they didn't before. So, I guess it was just below average like always.
