I won it at a raffle at grad night, what should I buy with it?
I've always enjoyed reading, but I've never really been into anything specifically. I've only really read easy read books like Dan Brown stuff (Angles and Demons, The Da Vinci Code, etc) and Harry Potter stuff.
But yeah what are some cool books that I should get? I guess something focused around technology would be cool or something.
get Breat Easton Ellis's new book next week
or uh gravity's rainbow by thomas pynchon if you want an easy book
Well if you've never really read real books before you should start with some entry level stuff.
1984 by George Orwell.
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

I've read that and it was a great book. I guess I'm a solid reader, like I have good reading comprehension skills, I just need something to get me going.
And snorkel I'll look into those.
Carl Sagan
Philip K. Dick
Arthur C Clarke

She isn't a very wealthy lady, but she saves her money like no other. Mostly to help pay for her grandchildren's college funds.

A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson
If you want a REALLY simple, but entertaining book,
I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell - Tucker Max. It's hilarious
Also, as JMV mentioned, Dawkins. I've been meaning to pick up The God Delusion. I heard it is good.
American Psych by Bret Easton Ellis is one of my favorite books. It's pretty much incredible.
Yeah I was planning on picking up I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell. I think I'm also going to get Less Than Zero, which is the prequel to the book snorkel suggested.

Just start with
Rules of Attraction, it's basically Less Than Zero with a lot more going on (and different but similar setting). All his books are breezy reads though (
Imperial Bedrooms which came out this month, despite the nice cover, isn't really worth reading)
I just had a barnes and nobles giftcard for like a full year until earlier this August when I stopped in a store looked at the marvel and dc books that they had, and ended up walking out with Hot tub time machine and I still have it to this day.

No, I wasn't implying anything like that. Ellis often refers to elvis in several of his books and it's sort of a running theme to name his books after such. bassir;
