Title: suggest random photography subjects
Post by: snorkel on June 11, 2010, 11:33:31 PM
buildings (types, not specific ones unless you're familiar with minnesota), styles, situations, color palettes, recommend me things to inspire my photography. I am always at a loss for what to seek out to photograph, because it seems the best ones always end up being after-thoughts or spontaneous anyway.

Eventually this summer boredom will lead me on long drives to weird geographies (black hills could produce something cool, iron range too), but I feel unfulfilled lately for creating nothing worthwhile

1. write your basic ideas
2. forget about them
3. return to them in a week or so
4. add more special snorkel influences to your original, bland ideas
5. do it

Art Deco buildings fascinate me. What a weird era.   And I love pictures that show abandoned things. Buildings, roads, bridges or anything left to disappear do to neglect.

for my photography classes I always just went into the state park and just walked around until I saw something interesting.
