Title: recommend me hip-hop
Post by: snorkel on May 01, 2010, 02:29:34 PM
I download new albums every day from every genre except hip-hop. there's either just a lack of good new hip-hop or I can't find it or I'm not trying hard enough.

I think Kanye West is pretty good hocuspocus;

But that's more Hip-Hop/Rap than anything

samiyam is dope, I wouldn't know about him if he wasn't on the flipside of Joker n Ginz's Stash. Then I picked up his ep.

But anyways,  hip hop;   Mikah Nine / mikah 9.   He works with aceyalone and abstract rude, all whom are good.

and some singles from  M.C.M

ALSO QUOTED MOTIVES - KITCHEN SINK     luckily I still had the zip in my local temp folder, damn I got everything i ever downloaded in there haha....but yea I didn't want to have to make it into a zip. I'm sure it's easy I just haven't done it before.

I recommend anyone who likes hip hop to download the album, it is quite a work of art considering the timeframe it is under. I honestly can't believe the beats only took 2 weeks. It's definitely one of my favorite albums, and they are re-releasing it properly which I think will have more tracks, or maybe a few less.

"This is an album that took 2 weeks to make the beats for, roughly 1 week total for writing, and about 3 days to record. It was made in support of the Quoted Motives tour, Kitch n Sync, which you have purchased this cd at. The money spent towards this release will be spent by us on things like: blunts, fresh fruit smoothies, neo citran, pop tarts, coffee, sleeping pills, nuclear weapons and new recording equipment for guha. We thank you kindly for your support"   -discogs.
