He's a huge conservative and we disagree a lot, but damn if he wasn't right when he said
QuotePublic schools weren't made to teach you stuff, just to condition you for when you get a job
And even in that respect, they don't do a good job.
How do they condition us for jobs?
what a stupid fucking thread
Huh? huhdoodame;
That would be sad if it were true. :(
How is that right at all doodthing;
I'm not so sure about conditioning us for a job, but they sure teach us how to memorize and regurgitate information. However, you may have some good teachers you can actually teach you something. This was the case with my AP English teacher. Going in, I didn't know shit about interpreting poetry, but now I'm somewhat competent at it. Of course, analyzing poetry isn't that helpful, but we also did rigorous essay writing, and that definitely helps. I salute you, Mr. Fossett, for you actually know how to teach me something.
So yeah, maybe you'll get a really good teacher.
Learn how to behave in a socially acceptable manner so you can get a job. Receive an education. It's both.
negroes don't get jobs
that's not true at all, that's what private schools do

I've had a few of these teachers. They are awesome.
