So I know that ODST will come with a Halo 3 Multiplayer Experience disc including all of the Halo 3 multiplayer maps and 3 new ones, but I was wondering whether or not you would need to also have the Halo 3 disc to play with the content, so is it Halo 3 without the campaign on the second disc, or is it just a bunch of maps that you download to your hard drive?
Thinking of buying it seeing as it is released in a few weeks and the game is surrounded with hype, not to mention I have been meaning to give Halo 3 a spin but never really had a chance since I've been playing catch-up with 360 titles. After hearing about this bonus disc, I really believe I am putting down the $60 for it and $30 for Halo 3 if I have to buy the game.
Anyone definitely buying ODST?
Halo is not worth it. I would wait for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, that game will live up to it's hype, just ignore the annoying meatheads who only play that and madden. But if you have friends that come over, Halo 3 is a pretty good game.

Or just get both
I'll probably ask for it for christmas, along with borderlands.
ODST second disc is basically Halo 3 multiplayer minus the Co-op Campaign
ODST takes place before 3 but personally I'd buy both
