 Have any of you guys tried Shiny Gold yet? It has a few bugs and such, but it looks pretty good for a fanmade game, it's still in Beta but you can play it up to Fuschia city if I remember correctly. I wish the Pokemon community would help him more to make day/night happen, and hes run into some problems with the apricots and other things. But I wish him luck.  cjlubdoods;

Here it is if you guys want to see how it looks like if it was made during Fire Red/Leaf Green era.

I'm probably really weird in that I like pokemon a lot and play it a ton but refuse to get into the competitive battling stuff.

On the note of pronunciations, what's with Gyarados? Seeing it in textual form makes me think "gya-rah-dos" (and that's also how its Japanese name is pronounced) but the english anime and pokemon stadium-like games all say the first syllable like "gair"

Maybe. I don't like to brag about anything except when it comes to Pokemon, but I'd say I'm excellent at battling. Of course, I've not played since Septemberish of last year. Haven't even played in the Platinum environment. But I have been doing many double battles since then, hoping that I could go to the Video Game Showdown. I couldn't. Still, doubles is where I shine at the moment. Also ADV. I was awesome in 3rd gen. You gonna switch to milotic? Nah man, how predictable. Heracross focus punch kills.

I used to be pretty good, but I haven't battled competitively since late 2007, when I was really into breeding, EV training, building teams, etc.

Now I just play pretty casually, just for fun.
