I have approximately $1800 to spend. I was just going to order a macbook pro and call it a day but I've decided to go over my options again. so. opinions?

so anyway yeah I got 15" Macbook Pro. 2.53 GHz and 320 GB harddrive. Total cost including tax and free ipod touch: $1880.

You can goto best buy too, all my friends last year went to best buy to get their macbooks and they gave them free iTouch too (they are in college).

no, you can't. I went to best buy and they offered absolutely no student discounts/ deals. In fact, we used their computer to go to the apple store online and compare prices. Then I left the screen with the macbook [ro prices on the macbook pro before I left the store. <3
Buying it online saved $400 and got me a touch.
