G0T MINE TODAY
I didn't get one this year :(
We always get ours at the beginning of the next year, so they can photograph events from summer, I guess.
So I'll be getting my junior year yearbook in the fall of my senior year. baddood;

that's pretty stupid, how do you get your senior yearbook, and what about people who move? baddood;
Our yearbook had lots ofstudents cut out because we never got this "form" to allow us to be in the yearbook.
;_______;
I've never bought a yearbook. Ours are always like $50. Why would I want to spend $50 on a book on a bunch of people I hate?
I got one this year for the first time (they're 60-85 dollars)and because we won some award and got some grant, it's 200 pages hard-cover full-color. At $60 that's really not bad at all. My picture is awful (The photographer and I hate each other so it was probably on purpose) but at least I'm in a bunch of other pictures so maybe people won't remember e as how I look in that one photo. :(

Uh, you fucking go back home and get it or ask your parents to get it for you if they still live in the same spot or ask them to ship it to you. baddood;

I don't really see the appeal of signing year books.

I don't really see the appeal of signing year books.
My friends and I write about the different things we've done together in high school. I have like a paragraph or more from 20+ people filled with inside jokes and memories. It's just really fun to look back and reminisce on those kinds of things.
I might bother getting a year book next year, I'm not sure. I think ours are about $45 if you purchase it at the beginning of the year, but then they go up to either $65 or $70 if you're buying one of the extras at the end of the year.

Same. It just makes them dirty and people are immature and go "LOL I SIGNED UR CRACK"

If you need to write down your memories they were really never that special :|
Last time I signed yearbooks was in middle school.
I didn't get mine until the end of my Freshman year of college because my school is retarded.

...maybe the reason you think this is because the last time someone signed your yearbook was in middleschool and people
were immature.
And I can guarantee you 20 years from now I won't remember half the things I've done with my friends, but reading my yearbook will help to spark my memory and remind me of all of the good times we'd had that I'd forgotten. I'm happy to do it for people and they're happy to do it for me, so why wouldn't I get my book signed? Even if I only read it once in the future and crack half a smile at one of the jokes, it'l be worth it.
If you don't want your yearbook signed then I don't really care, it doesn't matter. But you don't have to be a bitch about it. doodthing;
lawl sorry for giving my two-cents, how dare i exercise my first ammendment right hocuspocus;

It's just that there was no need to call us immature or be so obnoxious about asserting your opinion. Whatever, I don't really care. You should probably watch the things you say though, because you often come across as a bitch when you aren't trying to. In my opinion, at least.
Ours this year were motherfucking 165 dollars. Fuck that

And they expect people to buy those?
I wasn't in the yearbook because I didn't take a picture at John Payne's with a shirt and tie because I didn't have a shirt and tie, and they gave us two days notice so I didn't have time to go get the stuff. Also, I didn't get a yearbook because I never do and I don't want to remember these people. And just like I hoped, nobody asked me to sign their yearbook. I never know what to put in there.

People around here don't mind spending a couple hundred on something trivial like that, yeah
Especially clothes, jesus christ
LOL it's so shitty.
But lots of good random unexpected pictures of people.
It smells SO GOOD though.

One of my favorite things about the end of school is getting a new yearbook to look back on the year that we are finishing up.

our school does this too
I got mine last week. It was 90 bucks. But worth it.
Its probably one of the few things I will keep with me and never get rid of. It's just like a staple of my life, seeing all the people I went to school with as a child and having friends write stuff in it.
It basically will only have true value in like 20 years when I randomly decide to look at it as an adult. I'm glad I got one.
i bet laceys senior picture takes up pages 12-15

Yes. I don't see what we could have really added to yours.
I think you may have been nominated, but you didn't get enough to move to voting.

Ah, I see.
AND I COULD HAVE MADE DISCUSSION ABOUT BOYAH AWARDS AND HOW I FAIL AT BEING POPULAR. n_u
Two or three years after you leave high school you maybe glad you have one.
I'm going to be so confused when I look in mine like 20 years and read everyone's little comments.
