To be honest, the first couple of times I listened to the Smashing Pumpkins I thought they sounded awful. They're now one of my favorite bands ever. Same goes for Radiohead. God I love Radiohead.

Pretty much the whole 1984 album by Rick Wakeman.

It took two or three listens to appreciate it.
