Why the hell can you be 18, a LEGAL ADULT, but still not allowed to drink?
It makes no fucking sense. Aren't adults considered adults because they can now do stuff on their own and make their own life decisions?
no because you suck at driving
go to europe and it appears to me that the age limit doesn't prevent a lot of people from getting their hands on alcohol. hocuspocus;
I don't know, but I drink anyway
Apparently my aunt and uncle consider "grown up" when you leave their house.
They can send a man to a foreign country to die, but they can't let him drink. hocuspocus;
Might as well just tell 18 year olds to go dive off cliffs.
i see your point, but what is it exactly that makes you so eager to drink?

I was in Ireeland for a week. ONE WEEK.
And I was flat-out handed two shots of Whisky.
I was offered a free sample of whiskey at a distillery in Scotland when I was 11 years old. doodthing;
I have not had whiskey yet... my only experiences in hard liquor are vodka, everclear, and rum.
I've never even tasted alcohol. befuddlement
But I agree, if you're old enough to be sent off to kill and/or be killed at 18, you should be able to drink. akudood;

are you kidding me beer is the best.
also i think they should lower the drinking age to 18.
even though in Canada it's 19 which isn't so bad.
but everyone drinks anyways so it doesn't really matter.

Beer is great because you can play better games with it. Without games it's horrible, yes

Well if you've had everclear, whiskey shouldn't be a problem for you.

I think it should stay at 21. That way, when you turn 21 you can post it here, ask for advice and it will still be funny when I say, "Have your 'first' drink".
