Yesterday was my first day of driver's ed and we did not really do much of anything. Needless to say, it was pretty boring. We have to take a test over a chapter in the manual everyday so we are required to study every night for the test. We must get a B or higher in the class or we cannot get our probationary license, required by state law. Also, I only get to actually drive every other day (tuesday, thursday, and saturday so that I can get some daylight driving), so that sucks. But luckily there is not any class on Fridays so that's cool.
My older brother and sister have never taken driver's ed and learned how to drive from my mother, but she does not have the time to teach me, so I have to take this class.
You can fit into a car?
i think you mean DMV, idiot

Attention Miss Know.It.All. Not all states have a DMV. doodhuh;
Massachusetts has an RMV(registry instead of directory). Maine has a BMV(bureau). I think Ohio does too.
Drivers ed sucks.

Yeah it sucks. I had to take mine a few years ago... But I still haven't gotten my fucking drivers.
I plan to take it in the Spring, maybe.
When I did drivers ed it was really really easy. All we had to do was pass quizes which were all open book....

No. :(
I've never
really had a reason to get my license to begin with. I've always been okay with public transports. I wouldn't have a car anyway and the gaz prices don't incite me to have one to be honest. But now it's beginning to get more necessary and it could open up a few more job opportunities if I actually knew how to drive.

True, isn't Québec usually the most expensive province for gasoline too? And it probably would help you get a job easier.

I wouldn't really know. I just looked here (http://www.fuelfocus.nrcan.gc.ca/price_map_e.cfm) and British Columbia seems to have it up the ass right now.
Yeah I had to take a book-based classroom Driver's Ed, then afterward I had to take driving lessons from an instructor. Then after that, I had to complete a certain number of hours driving with a licensed driver.
The DE test was extremely easy, as was the permit test. As for my actual driving test...I failed it the first time because I sucked at parallel parking. After I learned to do it better I took it again and aced it with no troubles.
Driver's ed was fucking boring.
Anyway, I passed it all and I've got my license so I don't care. giggle;
I've done all the classroom work. I only need to drive with the instructor 4 times 2 hours at a time.
Took drivers ed. It was fun since my friend was my driving partner and we both were like the best in the class. I passed my test with a 92 and my friend got an 80 spam;

I got somewhere in the 80's.
when I was driving with my instructor, I took a turn too fast and his cell phone fell on the driver's side floor.
I slammed on brakes and gave him his phone back.

i liked the part where my instructor had me slam on the brakes when ever he said "now"
My driver teacher was a real asshole. I wanted to punch him the face.

I've never been in a school that had that. It's probably an American thing.

I liked how my instructor would let the brake fluid run out. He'd tell me to floor it when getting on the highway and then he'd get pissed when i couldm't get past 50 mph. Fat bastard...
