Oh yeah nobody on boyah has a life
So, I've been wanting to ask this girl to homecoming for a while. I finally decided to act on it yesterday, and got her 5 flowers, and 4 notes. The notes said "Will", "You", "Go To", "Homecoming With me? Meet me at the stairs by the entrance after school"
My plan was to give one note and one flower to each of her teachers so they could put them on her desk in order, and then meet her after school with the final flower.
I told one person about it on Saturday, so of course, she already knew that I was asking her ahead of time.
I set up everything at 7:00am before school. First bell is at 7:23 and second bell is at 7:28.
By the time second period came around, I just assumed that everything was going according to plan, so I chilled with some friends in Video Production. My friend Erik said something about her carrying a rose in the hallway, and I was like, "dude, that's mine", and then I got props for being awesome. I go to my seat, and the guy sitting next to me asks me who I was in the process of asking. I told him her name and it turned out that he asked her right after first bell with 12 roses in the hallway. According to a reliable source, he kind of handed her the roses, and walked away without a clear answer, but he assumed that she said yes. So when I hear this, my head is filling with different emotions. I'm angry at her for not saying anything, since she knew that I was already asking her, I was angry at myself for not asking her earlier, and of course, I was angry at this other guy for asking her to begin with. That class turned out to be extremely awkward, having to sit by that guy, but I got through it.
I went out to lunch with one of her friends at Jack In The Box, and she said that the girl I was asking would say no to the other guy and yes to me, since she would rather go with me..
So after that everything went according to plan.
But I feel really bad for the other guy.
But it is also a huge relief to have all that over with.
Anybody else do anything for homecoming?

The most I did for homecoming was deceive my mom into believing that it was already over when she started trying to convince me to go.
and I'm surprised that people actually helped you with your plan.
That's sweet if she's the sort of girl who appreciates those things :) A really nice gesture.
I thought about going but decided against it and just hung out with some friends at my place.
I avoided all the homecoming crap here at my university. Until this year I didn't even know that some colleges still bother with it. I had always thought before it was just a high school thing.
having social interactions or getting into a girl's pants are all that matter
Ha ha ha, all of this effort for one little dance? Your reactions are fascinating.

so?
Seems like a lot for homecoming but good for you. I do feel kinda sorry for the other guy though. I didn't go to mine, didn't feel like it
I was planning on going. Got a suit and everything.
But then all my friends didn't wanna go so I'm like "fuck it"
Homecoming is so lame at our school. It's the same as every other dance (except maybe prom).
The only differene is that we have a half-day and for the second half of the day there are a handful of activities set up around the school.
But I hate school dances. The only one I enjoy is prom because there's an ounce of class.
not going baddood;
I was considering going to the football game, but meh. At least we won.
I was grounded for homecoming.
Probably makes me sound like a weird, reclusive, person, but those type of things do not really appeal to me.
And good luck, hope she says yes. Probably will, always best to make some huge deal out of it so its really awkward and mean to say no.

Actually, a lot of people here are like that so you're so not weird here.
Our homecoming was this past Saturday. Hopefully my mother will give me my damn pictures tonight so I can scan them and everyone can say how handsome I am. giggle;
Mines in another two weeks, probably won't go... Scratch that, definetly won't go, unless something radical occurs. :x
I kind of wanted to go to mine (next Saturday, it will have been two weeks ago), but I had a dentist appointment the day before. Since the trip to and from my dentist and my school is pretty far, as in a 2-3 hour drive, I didn't want to tire my parents out by having them drive so much in so little time. Plus, I could tell they wanted me around more than anything else, so I didn't want to sadden them.
If I get braces off during the upcoming summer, I'll definitely go to Homecoming next year, though.
(PS: There were a few girls that I wanted to ask and still want to ask to dances later on this year, but some of those girls formed deep relationships with their dates, which made me rage. A lot.)
I didn't go. I really couldn't find anyone to go with me nor anyone I would want to go with.
I didn't go because I had to fucking work.
The funny part is that the girl I wanted to ask was working that night too, so I was with her all night, so it was basically like I asked her to go to the work with me lol
