My problems were with;
[spoiler]ninetales (kept spelling it ninetails)
electabuzz (keptspelling it electobuzz)
gyarados (serious, where does that first a come from?)

I got 74. The spelling kept me from getting a lot of them. Others, I could see in my head, but just really couldn't remember their name.

Also, judgling from the stats, not a lot of people remembered how to spell Exeggcute and Exeggutor. I certainly didn't. befuddlement

My second try I got 143, but I got all those three.. most of the ones I missed were really stupid and obvious. Like ones I thought I typed in but didn't. ...Like Ponyta and Rapidash. Amd <agmar.

My method of doing this the first time probably wasn't very effective, as I was playing Pokemon Snap in my mind and entering the names of the pokemon as they appeared.

But Pokemon Snap definitely doesn't have all 151 pokemon.  baddood;

Oh, and the reason that eggsecute and eggsecuto are the most missed isn't because they're easily forgotten; IT'S BECAUSE THEY'RE IMPOSSIBLE TO SPELL.

I was using the Pokemon Snap method as well, but I was also trying to remember my teams on the games, the gym trainers' pokemon, the Safari Zone pokemon (since some of those are the hardest to remember), my pokemon cards, etc.

I should add that I tried generation two and couldn't even get all the starters.

I got 4 before I absolutely gave up;

I only got 97. I'm not very good at remembering certain areas of countries, particularly the tiny coastal ones in South America and like half of Africa. Also those annoying bastards that end in -stan. They're hard to spell.

Holy fuck that was hard. Some of them were total guesses, like Orchid and Carnation (which automatically fills in as Carnation Pink, fortunately). And a lot of ones that I thought were Crayola were actually other companies I guess, like Emerald and shit.

I think I only actually knew about 42 of them, and the rest I got right were guesses. And of course there's plenty of easy freebies.
