Title: Momento.
Post by: The artist formally known on August 15, 2008, 03:54:48 AM
The story is great but the way the film is played is amazing.

It's told completely backwards with black and white scenes that play forwards. Though it sounds like it could be a mess of a movie being played completely backwards, it actually is quite clear. I swear, once you watch the movie you'll have a huge urge to watch it again to see if it makes sense still.

It's about a guy who lost his memory, he tattoos and has pictures of the memories he needs. Directed by Christopher Nolan who directed the two newest Batman movies.

The movie makes you really feel what the main character feels, the reason why it's played backwards is so that you know exactly as much as the main character does. You don't remember what came before that scene in the movie and the main character doesn't either.

You have to pay attention to it to enjoy it. Watch it alone and pay close attention, it really is a piece of art.
