This happened almost a month ago, but I suddenly feel the need to tell you guys now. baddood;
So I did amazingly well in Biology this year. I got nothing below a 95 per quarter and I got two 100's in a row. My teacher and I believed that I could get a perfect 100 on the state final.
So the final comes along, and it's almost too easy. I flew through it in under an hour, and when I was finally finished I thought "Wow, I think I may have really gotten 100".
So a few weeks pass with me eagerly awaiting my grades. I needed to see that 100 as soon as possible.
Two or three days after everyone I knew got their grades, mine finally arrived in the mail. I WAS SO EXCITED.
I ripped the envelope to shreds and unfolded the report card. The first thing I look to is the Biology section. I take a look to the right, and...
93. I got a ninety-three, out of a possibly one hundred points.
I WAS SO DEPRESED FOR THE REST OF THAT WEEK smithicide;
I'm honestly thinking of retaking the test until I either
1: Get 100, or
2: Graduate. befuddlement
Anyway, what was your biggest "slap in the face"?
some chick slapped me in the face
I got a 100 on my Bio state exam spam;
Long story short:
I had the highest grade in the class. New grades posted. No longer highest. It sucked.
Not only that but I was fifth.
Only got slapped by a girl once in sixth grade when I called her a nigger.
The first inter-district math competition I was in was probably the biggest one I remember. Basically, I worked with students who were in my grade, yet from different schools, and we did problem sets: 3 individual sets and 1 team set (which is where our teamwork actually mattered).
Anyways, each and every one of the problem sets were difficult, but I thought I did well on them - I thought I'd get mentioned at the awards ceremony for one of the individual sets, at least.
Of course, the slap in the face was that not only did I not get any awards or mentions, but no one in my district did.
we such at mathamaticks
I was the best player in the All Star game... Highest average, most RBIs, and some great plays at first base, but they told me I couldn't win the MVP trophy because I was related to one of the coaches who would have a vote. Argh. At least in terms of accomplishments that's the biggest slap in my face.
Otherwise it would be the times my dad was extended on duty in Iraq right before he was scheduled to come home
A woman slapped me in the face because I said her boyfriend was only using her for sex.
2 weeks later, she discovered I was right.
i mean metaphorical slaps in the face guys akudood;
a guy slapped me on the face because i was making fun of his mom and made him cry cry;
Getting an A is a slap in the face?
When I had a 98% in English, the teacher said that she wanted to keep my poetry, and said I was one of the best students she's ever had, yet I got no award at graduation. >.<
I think it was because she overheard me saying to one of my friends that I never did my homework for English. powerofone;
You care about getting awards at graduation? I always get awards but I never show up to receive them.

I was somewhat frustrated because the people who got the awards had B's as their grades and I had a fucking 98%. >.<
HOLY SHIT A 93
WORST FUCKING GRADE EVER

That's life. They give the awards to the people with the best work ethic, and those people aren't the brightest bunch.

No, he shouldn't be in school. We can't have these retarded kids going around making 93s while capable children constantly have to put up with their shit. It's just not fair and creates an unbalanced learning environment.

You know what? People who make 93s shouldn't even be alive. They're so dumb that they're a burden on the rest of society.

Those scum of the human race should be burned for fuel as soon as they come out of the womb. Two birds with one stone. 93s, Jesus fucking Christ. Back 40 or so years ago things were better because we didn't let them do jack shit, but now we let them get jobs and even breed. It's pathetic.

I know, it's silly to be disappointed in such a high grade. But I feel as though I've let myself down. :'(
I kind of see how you feel, I got a 100 and then a 98 on my last two tests in math. If I get anything on a B I'd be sort of sad. I wouldn't mind too much though.
I sometimes get Cs, but usually As and a few Bs. But yeah steal, It's stupid.
Quote from: steal on July 22, 2008, 12:16:41 AM
I'm satisfied with a C, people like you infuriate me. I would be ecstatic if I got a 93% on anything in school and you fucking cry about it?
It depends on the class.
If I get a lower grade than anyone in science, I'm pissed. If I'm able to get at least a fair B in a class I don't try in like math, I'm satisfied.

Same here, all I care about is my math class, and anything in the C or higher range is just fine in my other classes
My c in english last semester is making me miss Boyah for the first quarter of school, but maybe on weekends, not sure. Yep, come august, no computer till october or november or something.

Willis McGahee to all the Buffalo Bills fans.
I don't feel like typing out the story though.
Freshman year of HS this one girl slapped me in the face on the bus home because I rightly called her a fucking whore. I had to restrain myself as a public beating would have been too much.

Believe me, I love my beast. He runs hard and doesn't get tired after a 10+ yard run.

When I got s gamecube and it dropped like $50 a week later. doodthing;
The same thing happened to me when I needed a new ping pong paddle. It was $90, but it had a fantastic light weight blade and the rubber was great for slices and smashes so I got it regardless of the price. A couple of weeks after I bought it, they dropped the price down to $45.
And I only needed a paddle because the other two I had left in my school locker towards the end of the school year. A couple students assured me the custodians wouldn't touch it seeing as how we keep the same lockers for next year. A week or so before school started, other people kept telling me they clean out our lockers during summer. So I go straight to school, only to find that my locker was left completely barren. As it turns out, the custodians decided my paddles would be more useful in the hands of some orphans who don't know shit about ping pong.
Double-slap. Fuck the school system. edumacate;

I didn't know shit about video games yet, and the year I got a N64 was the same year the gamecube came out. And I was left out cause everyone else got one and got to play the
new smash bros. :'(

Shut up.
This was more of a slap to the face of awesome. Not of pain, hate or dislike, like all of your other slaps to the faces.
It was like a wake-up slap.
People care about me, even if it isn't deeply. I was in the delusion that everyone hated me for a while.
