The iPhone is upgraded, these idiots will bitch about Apple milking the customer, when in reality the same shit happens in the entire cellphone industry. Motorola is constantly releasing new, better phones. The Sidekick is constantly being remade. LG does it all of the time. It's how the cell phone market works; you always need to be on top and make sure your product is better than the competition. Apple waited a year as opposed to its competitors who do it 2-12 times more often, but because it's Apple these idiots feel the need to bitch about how "Apple is stupid it just milks customers"
Same with the computers. So what if Apple upgrades the processors in their computers every few months? No one is saying "lol you MUST buy this new version." Upgrading computer specs is commonplace throughout the entire computer industry. HP does it, Asus does it, Dell does it, Apple does it. Just because Apple does it, people decide to bitch about how they "rip people off".
iPods, same story. As technology prices drop and storage capacity increases, higher storage space in a sleeker form factor is available for the same price, allowing for Apple to upgrade their product, nothing wrong here. It happens a lot with other companies too.
It's really annoying how people act like Apple is "bad" or "Selfish" for doing what every other tech company does: improving their product to compete in a market where having the newest technology means a lot. It's even worse when you have idiots like Riosan and Silverhawk over at NShit bashing Apple for it while Nintendo does the SAME thing(Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP, Gameboy Advance SP with a brighter backlight!!!!, Gameboy Micro // DS, DS Lite, DS Lite WITH MARIO KART DECALS. GET THE NEW COLOR ^__^)

Earlier he was like "why didnt they release it a year ago like they shuld have" and I was like "Because a slim form and a good battery life with 3G was totally plausible then", I commend Apple for being able to pull off a pretty good battery life on a 3G phone and they couldn't have done it last year. I then was like "why didnt nintendo release the wii 7 years ago bluetooth and the graphical capabilities existed" and no one said anything.
I could care less, besides the iPod Touch I don't care about Apple products, and unless that iPod breaks I wont be buying anything from them anytime soon.

Plus if I remember correctly, Steve Jobs mentioned the lack of 3G availability from AT&T as another factor for not putting 3G on the original iPhone, no?
