Considering i've caught every single Pokémon (Minus the event legendary Pokémon baddood;) in the game and have countless hours logged into it whether it be EV training or waiting to get awesome IV's, I can get you a Chimchar and Piplup.

Just let me breed them first.

My fc is

I just looked at Budew on Serebii.net and discovered that it doesn't learn any moves past Worry Seed...it doesn't even fucking learn Razor Leaf unless you get it from an egg.

Christ, what a useless grass Pokemon.

Is there any quick, cheap way of boosting happiness in D/P. I remember that Gold/Silver had haircuts, but Serebii.net doesn't mention anything like that. It just mentions using berries the Pokemon like and giving massages.

Also, if those massages are in D/P, where's the city I can give them?

There's someone in Veilstone City who can massage your Pokémon.
Feeding them pofins they like, leveling up and having them in your party a lot will also increase their happiness.

Also don't let them feint to often or they will lose happiness.

I know. I love Umbreon, but it can't learn Crunch, so it's a bit useless as a Dark Pokemon. Espeon is probably the most useful out of all of them.

It's okay though since Umbreon can learn Dark Pulse which is a pretty cool move.{:

Though I prefer Umbreons looks, I prefer Espeons stats as well.  But Glaceon is my fave overall.

He just started the game. He's missing almost everything.

Also, if you ask me, getting powerful Pokemon from trades and dominating the game right from the beginning kind of ruins part of the fun. I'm refraining from trades until there's none left I can catch on my own.

I started over since then though... I'll tell you which I used. Also, I formed the team after I beat the game because there were some unavailable until then.

I think it might have been:
Marowak
Mamoswine
Tyranitar (loses ground for dark, but close enough)
Whiscash
Torterra
Garchomp, Aerodactyl, Flygon (I forget)

Actually the starter list of ease goes in this order:
Turtwig makes it the easiest
followed by Chimchar
and Piplup makes it the hardest

And you can always catch a Ponyta in game, or trade with someone who can get fire types from past games.
