I shorted my list by restricting it to one favorite per artist on each decade. I got a lot of favs made by the same artist in the same decade, my list would be bigger than it already is.

Oh damn, I messed up the img for 80's.

nonono I love the 80's for music, It's like a guilty pleasure of mine, I love the cheesy ballads and hair bands etc.

I just put a generic corny album from the 80's to express my lvoe.

Also, your list is lacking Radiohead  baddood;

I'll try to choose one favorite from each...

50's
(http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/513SZ9T8EZL._SS500_.jpg)

60's
(http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/ciu/6a/51/1132b220dca02cd4a5e68010.L.jpg)

70's
(http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61SX7ZB8YYL._SS500_.jpg)

80's
There was no good music in the 80's. At all.

90's

2000's

Mars Volta's De-Loused In The Comatorium is a close runner-up for this decade.

He can't handle the creativity factor, that's all.

He'd rather listen to At the Drive In and their mind-numbing monotony.

anyway, they are the band TMV's singer and guitarist started from. It broke up, those 2 formed TMV and 1 or 2 others formed that extremely obscure and boring band Sparta.
