Spin jump towards wall, tap opposite direction like a pixel or two before you hit it, then jump in the direction you just tapped.

Just as a reminder you can beat the game without ever using this so if you have to use it, you're doing something wrong.

I got stuck in some room with these green aliens and they were wall jumping. So I assumed I had to. I did leave out of the room, but it can still help.
