They're all the same damn game and don't even bother trying to say they're not.

Zelda II is great, Minish Cap was pretty good, Four Swords was okay but could've been better (ie THE LINEAR ASPECT SUCKED)

Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass are the worst.

Because while it's okay, it's really nothing new.

But seeing as how Japan just likes reading, it is shocking.

How is Wind Waker? I've been thinking about purchasing it during the summer since I've never really played a Legend of Zelda game.

Wind Waker was suprisingly good.

When I first saw the screenshots I was like "FUCK NINTENDO!!!" and than I played it and fell in love.

Indeed. It's my favorite of the series. It presents a lot of freshness to a series that suffered a severe lack of originality.

But there's one difference: 2D shooters offer fun and at least go for different graphical styles.

FPSes are neither fun nor do they offer any sort of art style to stand out.

Bioshock looks different and plays different from TF2. Half Life 2 looks different and play different from Army of Two. hell Army of Two isnt even an FPS. Deus Ex plays different and looks different than Call of Duty 4. Unreal Tournament 3 plays and looks different than Turning Point : Fall of Liberty. I don't see what you're getting at here.

You're fucking stupid. "Fun" is based on your personal preference. All genres of games have copycats while still having games that go for different graphical styles. Turok did not look like Goldeneye. Not even fucking close. Perfect Dark did not look like the Metroid Prime games. No FPS I've played is "the same game" as any other FPS I've played.

God damn, quit being so retarded about FPSes. The shmup genre is just as repetitive.
