Good. BORING but not bad.
we've been learning all about college/graduation credits and stuff for high school these past few weeks. it's soo confusing. my teachers are all like stressing me out with choosing the right classes and how what i decide now is gonna affect the rest of my life. and i'm just like "shitt, i'm in 8th grade! i don't know what i wanna do with my life"

Yep. It's not like you have much choice before that. Most of my freshman year was doing all of the required stuff, and then Sophomore year was finishing it up so I had room for good electives Junior and Senior year.

Not that grades don't matter before 11th grade, because they do. Just don't stress over course choices until then.

I think my parents are putting pressure on me because my two older siblings are kind of failures (my sister Christy ran off with her boyfriend then came back just to move, and my brother always bitches about not knowing what to do with his life) and they expect me to make them the proudest parents ever and I lack effort and I'm very emotional and cry about it sometimes :(

Take it first, you'll be glad you did. If you have a good teacher it should be easy. I did for my first year, and I got an A without much effort, but my second year teacher was a bitch so I got a C.
You should get rid of the annoying required classes first. You'll feel like a retard being a senior in a class full of freshman.

The only class I ever do homework on a regular basis in is algebra II which is also the only class I'm failing. baddood;
My brother actually got kicked out of high school and did an independent study for most of high school and he got good grades for that, but I doubt he actually did all his work.

You guys don't have much selection in 9th or 10th grade? Weird. I was taking APs in 10th. And I'm pretty sure colleges will care if you take bullshit classes in 9th and 10th grade. They're not just going to look at junior year and half of senior year. At least the colleges I'm applying to won't. 9th grade they may excuse, but by 10th, they're really paying attention.
You will soon realise, money talks more than grades. Not that grades don't matter but not as much as you may think.
