Everyone's threads catch my attention, because I thread-hop very quickly and generally read every single thread that gets posted in this board, Arts, and for the most part Video Games.

If there are 39438242334 unread threads then I use the previous and next buttons, that way I don't skip a thread. I try to read them all but some of them are just posted by gay users and therefore, I don't really care about the threads they make.

I usually ignore threads made by those under 15, since most are just stupid. If it's posted by someone like Geno or Ryder or whatever, I just make sure they're using a proper message icon and move onto something by JMV, Kaz, or Reaper.
