I plan on buying one once I'm older.
I would like mine to be 4 players or more, game doesn't matter too much because I'd scrap everything but the cabinet and the arcade sticks and maybe the monitor to make room for MAME. It'd be able to play all arcade games ever made.
Strikers 1945 or Ikaruga.
TMNT, the arcade game. Final answer.

2nd choice:

Thats probably it, maybe Metal Slug 1 or something, I really want something that just screams manly, the TMNT one doesn't do it but Metal Slug would.
Metal Slug 3. baddood;
TMNT obviously
What's MAME?
I can only pick one? gonk;
I dunno, probably a Marvel vs. Capcom one or something similar to that.

If you're getting a Mvs.C arcade, get the 2nd one.
okie
The only version of Mvs.C I've played is the one that was ported to the Dreamcast. I'm buying it from my friend John along with his Dreamcast and a bunch of other games for about $30 this summer.
Jesus, am I the only one that played the Strikers: 1945 games?

Probably. I know what they are, though. I'd just prefer to have a 2D fighting cabinet than a shmup one.

but fighters are more comfortable on control pads and shmups are best on tall screens :'(

Perhaps. But I really like the multiplayer arcade experience, and when it comes to facing off against someone, I prefer games like Marvel vs. Capcom.
Don't get me wrong though, because I'd love to have other cabinets too, several of them being shmups.

Oh god I love that game.
I have the second one for my PS2 though, so I wouldn't really need the cabinet save for nostalgia

Seriously. wub;
He's also giving me two controllers with VMUs for both of them. He told me that the disc for Mvs.C is slightly damaged though, which causes a problem with the background music on like 2 stages or something (the music just doesn't play sometimes), but other than that, it's fine.

That sucks.
I had bought 4 VMUs for $4 at Gamestop once, 70 cents each. Man Gamestop usually prices used peripherals so cheap it's awesome. Not controllers most of the time unless it's a last gen controller. Bought 2 Guncon2s for $14 together.
One of the Street Fighter games.
Or MvC
Gauntlet
The Simpsons. I really want to play that game again.

That was also a sweet arcade game thumbup;
San Francisco Rush
That game was awesome, especially with 4 or more people.
Daytona USA was pretty good too
