Honestly, this is the absolute greatest game ever made not counting all the shitty games that I love simply because of nostalgia.
I can see myself looking back 10 years from now, and looking fondly at the memories of this game just like it were SMB3 or Mario Kart 64
wii and galaxy are great, but they still dissapointed me. :'(
I think galaxy isn't that great i got the first Great Star yesterday and I like "Mario is getting to wierd now." I don't think its that fun either.

Go to hell. Galaxy is amazing, one of the best platformers I've ever played, as good as the Banjo games, sonic games, and better then all of Mario's previous games so far. It's not repetitive at all like that fucking mess sunshine was.
Since I got the 360, I've been like "Wtf the wii is so pointless without an achievements system" "wtf, this is so boring"
But Mario Galaxy is so awesome wub; It might be the only Wii game that I will be playing until SSBB comes out.
Shit, I forgot that my sisters got Galaxy yesterday. I watched one of them play it and get like two stars. I haven't tried it out yet.
Played SMG for a week, beat it, forgot about it.
Beat Super Mario World after a few months, loved it, still play it today after 12 years.

Comparing SMG to SMW is like comparing a nice comfortable two-story colonial home to the Moscow Kremlin.
I love SMG, started it yesterday up to 9 stars and 2 grand stars, but my only complaint are the cutscenes. Like the annoying as hell Power Star ones and the Grand Star ones. I can stand the boss intros, but damn, I don't want to see the "You got a ___ Star!" thing every time! LET ME SKIP THEM. Other than that, awesome game. Nintendo really spent their time mastering the controls and polishing it up.
Also, the SMW and SMG comparison is pointless.
it's so easy
i got bored over it after I played with it for a week

The controls really don't work well when you're running around on small or abnormally shaped planets. navi;

I personally think it's actually amazing that they work as good as they do on some of those space masses.

I felt the same, it was a little short for me.
Cool, hopefully other developers will start making real games for the Wii. ;'(
the only worthwhile thing to play on the wii
I have played Galaxy for at least 30 hours already after beginning on Christmas. navi;
